Photoshoot FAQs

Pick your package, open the calendar and choose the date and time that suit you. Every step is explained on the booking page. If your date isn't available, send me a message and I'll do my best to make it work.

One to three months ahead is ideal, and several months ahead for tulip season and Keukenhof. Online booking opens up to 4 months before your date. Want to secure a date earlier? Email me and I'll hold it for you until the calendar opens.

Sometimes! If my agenda has room, yes. Write to me as soon as you know your dates and I'll tell you what is possible.

Weekends are usually my days off, but I make room for events, commercial projects and clients who can't book during the week. A weekend fee appears automatically in the calendar when you pick a Saturday or Sunday. I don't usually shoot on public holidays. Tip: for weekend shoots, start early. Locations are much quieter in the morning.

Light rain doesn't cancel anything. I bring transparent umbrellas, and rainy canals make beautiful, cinematic photos. I check the forecast a week before, the day before and on the morning of your shoot. If the weather really doesn't work, we move your date, and if you're visiting we look for the best solution together.

You can reschedule within 72 hours of booking or up to 14 days before your shoot. Later changes have a €65 fee (excl. VAT). Cancel within 72 hours of booking and you get a full refund, except for bookings made less than 14 days before the shoot. After that, portrait and boudoir sessions get a 50% refund.

No extra fee in Amsterdam, Utrecht and Hilversum. Other places in the Netherlands may have a travel fee, and trips abroad are quoted case by case.

Six months from the day you buy it. That is your window to schedule and enjoy your shoot before it expires.

Yes, ideally at least two weeks before your shoot. Closer to the date it depends on my agenda. Upgrades are not possible after the shoot, and downgrades are not possible at any time.

I keep the copyright so I can show my work, but I never share your photos without your consent. Prefer to keep them private? The "Do Not Feature" option is €60 (excl. VAT).

Yes! Returning clients get 5% off their 2nd session and 10% off their 3rd session and all future sessions. And if you recommend me to a friend, you both get 2 extra photos. Read all the details in my Loyalty and Referral Program.

Always. I direct your poses, body language, angles and locations step by step, so you can forget the camera and enjoy it. You don't need any experience in front of the lens.

Once you've booked, your Client Portal has outfit and colour advice for your type of shoot and the season. Not sure yet? Write to me and I will happily help you choose.

Yes. I work with make-up artists and hairstylists across the Netherlands. Your Client Portal includes a booklet with my favourites, and their rates depend on their experience.

I'm based in Hilversum and photograph in Amsterdam almost every day, plus all over the Netherlands. Dreaming of another city? Tell me and I'll suggest locations nearby.

If my agenda allows, yes. Extra time is €75 for 30 minutes, €150 for 1 hour or €300 for 2 hours (excl. VAT). Please tell me in advance, because I often have several shoots in one day.

Send me a message and I'll do what I can. If you haven't arrived within 30 minutes of the start time and I haven't heard from you, the session counts as cancelled and the payment is non-refundable.

Within 1–3 days after your shoot, you get a private gallery with watermarked, unretouched previews. Tulip fields, Keukenhof, combo packages, commercial and hotel projects take up to 5 days. You choose your favourites from there.

The number depends on your package. Most clients choose within a week, and your gallery gives you one month. If the deadline passes, I pick and retouch my favourites for you.

Your retouched photos arrive within 5–7 days for most shoots, including Amsterdam, proposals and boudoir. Tulip fields and Keukenhof take 10–14 days because of the season. Commercial projects take 12–16 days and hotel projects 10–14 days. Event photos take 5–7 days. For surprise proposals you can pick 5 previews, delivered within 1–3 days.

Yes, subject to availability. Rush delivery for portrait and boudoir shoots takes 4 working days and costs €150 (excl. VAT). For tulip and Keukenhof shoots, priority retouching costs €150 and delivers within 5–7 working days. Event photos can be ready within 1 day with a rush fee. For commercial work, ask me for a quote.

No. I deliver edited photos only, with colour correction, light and retouching in my style, so every image matches my portfolio.

Basic retouching is included in portrait shoots and removes small distractions. Professional retouching (Tinder, LinkedIn and Personal Branding) adds skin, teeth and background polish. High-end retouching (boudoir, commercial and fashion) is detailed, image by image.

Yes. Extra photos are €22 for portrait and city shoots, €26 for tulip fields and Keukenhof, €28 for Tinder, LinkedIn and Personal Branding and €35 for boudoir (all excl. VAT). Commercial projects are quoted individually: fill in the briefing questionnaire.

Yes. In your Client Shop you can order prints, canvases, gifts and photo books. Your download link stays active for 30 days and your private gallery for 3 months, and I send a reminder before it expires.

Portrait photos are for personal use. For business use you can buy Commercial Usage Rights, or book a Personal Branding or LinkedIn shoot. Boudoir, commercial and fashion images can promote your brand at no extra cost.
