Additional person

If your package does not include additional people, any extra participants at your Tulip Fields shoot will incur a €70 per person fee (excl. VAT). This also applies to anyone accompanying you to the Tulip Fields experience, even if they choose not to appear in the photos.

An online invoice with a secure payment link will be issued after the shoot if the additional participant fee was not included at the time of booking.

Additional retouched photos

26€ each (excl. VAT) – Professional Retouching

Includes careful retouching, such as removing ropes in the gardens and minor distractions like a few people. Retouching is not applied to photos with a large number of people in the background—common during peak hours at Keukenhof Gardens—as extensive edits would compromise a natural look and be overly time-consuming.

Additional hours shooting

75€ for each additional 30 minutes of shooting (excl. VAT).

150€ for each additional 1 hour of shooting (excl. VAT).

For people joining you who do not want to participate in the tulip fields shoot (not appearing in the pictures), but still want to take part in the bike or car tour and tulip fields experience, the cost per additional person is 50€ (excl. VAT).

Weekends & Public Holidays

I typically do not schedule sessions on public holidays, though exceptions may occasionally be made depending on availability and project type.

Weekends are reserved to maintain a healthy work-life balance and ensure the highest quality for each session. However, I may accommodate weekend bookings for clients who are unable to schedule during weekdays.

Weekend sessions (Saturday and Sunday) include a 75€ surcharge (excluding VAT). This fee is automatically applied when selecting a weekend date in the booking calendar.

I recommend scheduling weekend sessions early in the morning to avoid crowds and ensure optimal lighting conditions, especially at popular locations.

Priority Retouching

An additional fee of 150€ (excluding VAT) applies for our 3-working-day turnaround service. Your edited images will be delivered within three business days once selections and payment are confirmed.

Kindly inform us before booking this option to ensure availability in our schedule.

Privacy Protection

For clients who require complete confidentiality, a privacy protection option is available for an additional 60€ (excluding VAT).

When selected, your images will remain private and will not be used for portfolio, social media, advertising, or any promotional purposes — online or offline. The photographer retains full copyright of the images but agrees not to publish or use them for marketing purposes.

Sunset shoots are truly a rare treat—available only upon request and when booked in advance so we can plan every detail just for you. We work long hours during the tulip season, which means these sessions are limited and subject to an additional Sunset Fee of 80€ (VAT excluded). Please note that April often brings cloudy days, which can sometimes reduce the chances of enjoying the full magic of the golden hour and a sunset. If you’re interested in adding this special experience to your session, just let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request!

Transportation & Travel Information

Kindly note that travel costs, as well as bike or car rentals, are not included in the photoshoot fee. Once you confirm your booking, we will provide a detailed breakdown of transportation options tailored to your preferred tulip fields or tulip gardens experience, along with all available possibilities and estimated costs. We highly recommend arranging your transportation and bike rental in advance, following our recommendations, to ensure availability during the busy tulip season.

Rental Car With Us

Each year during tulip season, we lease a car for the month to accommodate our clients comfortably and offer a seamless experience. With this option, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the breathtaking tulip fields as we drive through carefully selected locations—allowing you to explore more spots and capture even more beautiful moments.

Once your shoot is confirmed and transportation is finalised, I will send you a secure payment link for the rental car fee.

Estimated costs (depending on your hotel location in Amsterdam):

€150 – up to 3 seats

€250 – up to 5 seats

€280 – up to 7 seats

For larger families or groups of friends, we can occasionally arrange two cars if needed.

This option includes:

• 140 km round trip from Amsterdam
•  Hotel pick-up and drop-off
• Possibility of drop-off at Keukenhof Gardens if your shoot takes place nearby  
• Approximately 2 hours of total driving time (1 hour each way)
• Rental car, fuel, and insurance
• A customised tulip fields or tulip gardens route

Renting Your Own Car

Some clients prefer to rent their own car, which is absolutely possible. If you choose this option, please ensure there is enough space for your photographer to join you. If space allows, one of her interns may also join, so you can receive beautiful behind-the-scenes photos and videos of yourself walking through the tulip fields, captured on mobile.

Tulip Gardens

€10–€12 per person (depending on the garden and season)

During springtime, from mid-March to mid-May throughout the South and North of the country is transformed into a beautiful image, a sea of flowers. The timing of the tulips in full bloom may vary by a few days each year, depending on the weather. The weather conditions, such as sun light, rain, land and ground, can make the flowers and fields appear different.

Despite the fact that the tulip season changes every year, we always make sure that you get photos in the tulip and flower fields, so we created an approximate calendar for your convenience:

April 1st-13th. The early weeks of spring are adorned with vibrant flower fields bursting with daffodils, hyacinths, and narcissus. During this time, tulips have yet to bloom.

April 14th – 18th. There are tulip fields that have bloomed, but not all of them. There are already blooms on the flowers fields as well (daffodils, hyacinths, narcissus).

April 18th – May 5th. Tulips, Daffodils, hyacinths, and narcissus fields are in full bloom.

May 6th – 12th. Although farmers usually chop the heads off their tulip fields in the first week of May, we can still shoot in tulip fields theme parks or at Keukenhof. Our recommendation is to shoot the tulips until May 6th because they are already more destroyed and wilting the last days.

While our tulip photoshoots are typically available from mid-April to late May, we may be able to accommodate you for an early April shoot if desired. However, please note that tulips will not be in full bloom during this time, and you would only be able to capture photos of flower fields. If you are interested in an early April photoshoot, please let us know and we will check our availability.

When you are not traveling during the peak full bloom period of the tulips, we would be happy to suggest great alternatives!

1. One of them is shooting and visiting the famous Keukenhof. This 2025 Keukenhof garden will be open from the 20th of March until the 11th of May from 08:00 am till 19:30 pm.

2. Another enjoyable option is to visit one of the many tulip fields theme parks that we recommend. Choose your favorite from our curated recommendations!

Similar to the Keukenhof situation, there will be fewer tulips in full bloom in March than in April at the tulip fields theme parks. Additionally, some tulips may be dead after visitors walk around and touch them around the second week of May.
