We consistently sell out our tulip field shoots in advance, so please book your desired date as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Tulips are a symbol of the Netherlands, and when they are in full bloom is a truly magical time. From mid-April to mid-May of 2024, you will only be able to enjoy this exclusive experience. If you’re lucky enough to be visiting the Netherlands during tulip season, be sure to add this tulip experience to your to-do list!
Get a glimpse of the tulips with our professional photographer and founder, Sandra. In 2018, she decided to take a risk and become a full-time photographer. She created the only all-in-one tour in Holland that combines a tulip photoshoot experience with a customised tulip and flower fields bike tour.
The beautiful tulips are a perfect background to photograph couples, solo travellers, proposals, engagements, children, families, and bachelorette parties.

That’s no problem at all! For those who cannot bike our tailored bike route and photoshoot around the tulip fields, we can offer other wonderful alternatives and tips.
For example, if you like, we can also recommend you a great rental car company, meet you at your hotel, and give you directions so you can drive us to the tulip fields yourself!
Other options can be to shoot at a flower garden and tulip fields theme parks that we can recommend or at the Keukenhof Tulip Gardens.

During springtime, from mid-March to mid-May throughout the South and North of the country is transformed into a beautiful image, a sea of flowers. The timing of the tulips in full bloom may vary by a few days each year, depending on the weather. The weather conditions, such as sun light, rain, land and ground, can make the flowers and fields appear different.
Despite the fact that the tulip season changes every year, we always make sure that you get photos in the tulip and flower fields, so we created an approximate calendar for your convenience:
April 1st-13th. The first weeks of spring are filled with blooms of daffodils, hyacinths, and narcissus. During these days, tulips haven’t bloomed yet.
April 14th – 18th. There are tulip fields that have bloomed, but not all of them. There are already blooms on the flowers fields as well (daffodils, hyacinths, narcissus).
April 18th – May 5th. Tulips, Daffodils, hyacinths, and narcissus fields are in full bloom.
May 5th – 12th. Although farmers usually chop the heads off their tulip fields in the first week of May, we can still shoot in tulip fields theme parks or at Keukenhof. Our recommendation is to shoot the tulips until May 10th because they are already more destroyed and wilting the last days.
While our tulip photoshoots are typically available from mid-April to late May, we may be able to accommodate you for an early April shoot if desired. However, please note that tulips will not be in full bloom during this time, and you would only be able to capture photos of flower fields. If you are interested in an early April photoshoot, please let us know and we will check our availability.
As soon as you make your booking, we’ll provide you with a detailed summary of bike and car rental options near our meeting point and a comprehensive breakdown of transportation options from Amsterdam to Keukenhof, along with their respective costs.
Please note that your travel costs and rental bike or car are not included in the cost of this photoshoot. We recommend booking your travel and rental bike in advance to ensure availability.
Here are the additional expenses you will need to consider:
Rental car expenses. This option allows you to view more tulip fields. It depends on your location and the number of hours you hire the car, but we estimate 72€ for 4 hours for 110km (roundtrip from Amsterdam + tulip fields route).
When you are not traveling during the peak full bloom period of the tulips, we would be happy to suggest great alternatives!
1. One of them is shooting and visiting the famous Keukenhof. This 2024 Keukenhof garden will be open from the 21st of March until the 12th of May from 08:00am till 19:30am.
It is important to note that in March there will be fewer tulips in full bloom than in April. Also, around the 2nd week of May, some tulips may be dead after visitors have walked around and touched them.
2. Another enjoyable option is to visit one of the many tulip fields theme parks that we recommend. Choose your favorite from our curated recommendations!
Similar to the Keukenhof situation, there will be fewer tulips in full bloom in March than in April at the tulip fields theme parks. Additionally, some tulips may be dead after visitors walk around and touch them around the second week of May.

After booking, you'll receive an invoice and get exclusive access to your Client Portal where we'll collaborate and plan your fun and streamlined photoshoot. You'll receive all the preparation resources you need:
Our professional photographer will guide you through the process, helping you pose naturally and candidly. Prepare to have fun capturing these memories!
Within 2-3 days after the shoot, clients can choose their favourite photos from a private gallery, the photo-proofs appear with watermarks.
In accordance with the package you have booked, you will have the option of selecting a certain number of photos. Additional photos can be purchased for 18€ each (VAT Excluded).
The final digital photographs are retouched within 10-14 days (due to the high season), sent by email in high resolution/size, and in color and black & white.

🗓️ We offer two daily shoots in the tulip fields: 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. We prioritize filling the 9:00 AM slot first.
If the 12:00 PM slot is more convenient, let us know!

Multi color tulips: while the tulip colors planted may vary each year, we always do our best to photograph you with a variety of tulip colors as the backgrounds. Yellow, pink, white, and red tulips are the most common.
If your package does not include additional people, all additional people participating in your tulip fields shoot will be charged 30€ per person (excl. VAT).
For people joining you who do not want to participate in the tulip fields shoot (not appearing in the pictures), but still want to take part in the bike or car tour and tulip fields experience, the cost per additional person is 20€ (excl. VAT).
67,5€ for each additional 30 minutes of shooting (excl. VAT).
135€ for each additional 1 hour of shooting (excl. VAT).
I normally do not shoot on public holidays but there may be some exceptions. Weekends are my days off so I can maintain a good work-life balance and give my best for each shoot. Occasionally, I am happy to accommodate clients who cannot make it during the week, such as for events, commercial shoots, or private clients.
I am available Saturday or Sunday when it works best for the client, but it is recommended shooting early in the morning because there may be more people around in some locations. The “Weekend fee” is already calculated in the calendar when choosing Saturday or Sunday.

On top of the photoshoot price, the 3 working days turnaround price is 125€ (excl. VAT).
Let us know in advance if you require a rush service fee so we can confirm our schedule will allow it at that time.
