We create Amsterdam proposal photography with passion and care. Our shoots are all about getting lost in Amsterdam or any city you choose from our locations recommendations. We will also provide you with a booklet of private boat providers just in case you would like to do your surprise proposal shoot on a private boat (private boat fees are not included in our shoots). It is a great option for couples who want a more intimate and luxury experience.

Keukenhof Gardens Photoshoots are available from late March until the second week of May.
Tulip fields photoshoots typically run from the first or second week of April until the first week of May — perfect if you’re dreaming of proposing in a breathtaking sea of tulips.

Your surprise proposal, step by step
How do you keep it a surprise?
We blend in. For a paparazzi proposal my team and I pose as tourists. If you prefer, we can also plan it during a “regular” photoshoot.
Where can I propose?
Anywhere with meaning. A private boat on the canals, the bridges of the Jordaan, Vondelpark or Castle de Haar. In spring, Keukenhof and the tulip fields too.
What do I get to plan it?
Everything you need. Mockups and maps, tips to keep the secret, and my favourite restaurants to celebrate afterwards.
What to expect
01Book your session
Choose your package, then pick a day and time in my calendar. Online bookings close 2 days before the shoot. Need a last-minute date? Contact me quickly: if I'm available, I always go above and beyond to make it happen.
02Client Portal
After booking, you'll receive an email with your invoice and access to your Client Portal, where we plan your shoot together. Inside you'll find all the resources to prepare:

03Your photoshoot experience
I guide you through every pose, so it feels natural, even if it's your first photoshoot. Since 2018 I've photographed 1,500+ happy clients from 75 countries, so you're in good hands.
Once you decide your location(s), I share a Google Maps meeting point in advance, so you know exactly where to find me.
04Private gallery
Within 3 days after the shoot, you receive a private gallery with watermarked previews to choose your favourites.
In accordance with your package, you select a set number of photos. Extra photos are €22 each (excl. VAT).
05Retouching & delivery
Your final photos are retouched and delivered within 5–7 days, in high resolution, in colour and black & white.
From your private gallery, you can also order albums, prints, save-the-date cards and canvases of your retouched photos, made by a premium printing brand I trust. As I partner with them, you get an exclusive discount.

Additional retouched photos
22€ each (excl. VAT) – Basic Retouching
Additional hours shooting
75€ for each additional 30 minutes of shooting (excl. VAT).
150€ for each additional 1 hour of shooting (excl. VAT).
Weekends & Public Holidays
I typically do not schedule sessions on public holidays, though exceptions may occasionally be made depending on availability and project type.
Weekends are reserved to maintain a healthy work-life balance and ensure the highest quality for each session. However, I may accommodate weekend bookings for clients who are unable to schedule during weekdays.
Weekend sessions (Saturday and Sunday) include a 75€ surcharge (excluding VAT). This fee is automatically applied when selecting a weekend date in the booking calendar.
I recommend scheduling weekend sessions early in the morning to avoid crowds and ensure optimal lighting conditions, especially at popular locations.
Priority Retouching
An additional fee of 150€ (excluding VAT) applies for our 3-working-day turnaround service. Your edited images will be delivered within three business days once selections and payment are confirmed.
Kindly inform us before booking this option to ensure availability in our schedule.
Privacy Protection
For clients who require complete confidentiality, a privacy protection option is available for an additional 60€ (excluding VAT).
When selected, your images will remain private and will not be used for portfolio, social media, advertising, or any promotional purposes — online or offline. The photographer retains full copyright of the images but agrees not to publish or use them for marketing purposes.
Travel fee
Extra fees may apply outside Amsterdam, Utrecht, and Hilversum.

There are a lot of photogenic spots located in city centre where you can take breathtaking pictures of Amsterdam’s architecture, from hidden streets, beautiful bridges and docks with views of the majestic 17th century Dutch canal houses.

Amsterdam canal houses
You can choose your favourite Amsterdam canal for your photographs, such as Brouwersgracht, Prinsengracht, Herengracht, or Singel canal.
Skinny bridge and Amstel river
Magere Brug, also known as Skinny Bridge or Love Lock Bridge, is the most famous bridge in the Dutch capital. Another nearby location to visit for more photos with a Parisian vibe can be found at the Blauwbrug and the docks at Amstel river.
Private canal boat photoshoot in Amsterdam
We have a partnership with private boat providers so that you can enjoy a canal cruise while having your photo session. There is a high demand for romantic boat photoshoots for couples, proposals, engagements, and weddings. By photographing from a canal cruise, you can obtain different perspectives than if you were taking pictures from the street.
