Your maternity photoshoot, step by step
When is the best time?
Between weeks 32 and 36. Your bump is beautifully round and you’ll still feel comfortable moving around. Book about two months ahead.
Where do we shoot?
Wherever suits you. Parks, canals and castles outdoors, a studio or atelier for privacy, or the comfort of your own home.
Can my family join?
Of course. Partners, children and even pets are welcome, so the photos tell your whole story.
What to expect
01Book your session
Choose your package, then pick a day and time in my calendar. Online bookings close 2 days before the shoot. Need a last-minute date? Contact me quickly: if I'm available, I always go above and beyond to make it happen.
02Client Portal
After booking, you'll receive an email with your invoice and access to your Client Portal, where we plan your shoot together. Inside you'll find all the resources to prepare:

03Your photoshoot experience
I guide you through every pose, so it feels natural, even if it's your first photoshoot. Since 2018 I've photographed 1,500+ happy clients from 75 countries, so you're in good hands.
Once you decide your location(s), I share a Google Maps meeting point in advance, so you know exactly where to find me.
04Private gallery
Within 3 days after the shoot, you receive a private gallery with watermarked previews to choose your favourites.
In accordance with your package, you select a set number of photos. Extra photos are €22 each (excl. VAT).
05Retouching & delivery
Your final photos are retouched and delivered within 5–7 days, in high resolution, in colour and black & white.
From your private gallery, you can also order albums, prints, save-the-date cards and canvases of your retouched photos, made by a premium printing brand I trust. As I partner with them, you get an exclusive discount.

Every maternity session is different: the season, the place, the family. These are real clients, photographed in the tulips, in castle gardens and along the canals.
Colour and black & white, retouched by hand and delivered in your private online gallery.
Maternity FAQs
Additional retouched photos
22€ each (excl. VAT) – Basic Retouching
Additional hours shooting
75€ for each additional 30 minutes of shooting (excl. VAT).
150€ for each additional 1 hour of shooting (excl. VAT).
Weekends & Public Holidays
I typically do not schedule sessions on public holidays, though exceptions may occasionally be made depending on availability and project type.
Weekends are reserved to maintain a healthy work-life balance and ensure the highest quality for each session. However, I may accommodate weekend bookings for clients who are unable to schedule during weekdays.
Weekend sessions (Saturday and Sunday) include a 75€ surcharge (excluding VAT). This fee is automatically applied when selecting a weekend date in the booking calendar.
I recommend scheduling weekend sessions early in the morning to avoid crowds and ensure optimal lighting conditions, especially at popular locations.
Priority Retouching
An additional fee of 150€ (excluding VAT) applies for our 3-working-day turnaround service. Your edited images will be delivered within three business days once selections and payment are confirmed.
Kindly inform us before booking this option to ensure availability in our schedule.
Privacy Protection
For clients who require complete confidentiality, a privacy protection option is available for an additional 60€ (excluding VAT).
When selected, your images will remain private and will not be used for portfolio, social media, advertising, or any promotional purposes — online or offline. The photographer retains full copyright of the images but agrees not to publish or use them for marketing purposes.
Travel fee
Extra fees may apply outside Amsterdam, Utrecht, and Hilversum.

It is recommended to do your session at around 32-36 weeks of pregnancy, however, since every journey is unique, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have a circumstance that necessitates a certain timeline.
I am with you throughout the entire process, from planning your session to advising you on where and how to hang the artwork. You are in good hands.
Each session includes a private online gallery, high-resolution downloads, and all images are released for personal use and printing.
Outdoor
Once your booking is confirmed, I will send you a pdf booklet curated by me with beautiful locations in Amsterdam and the Netherlands. The booklet features a variety of locations, such as Amsterdam vibes, modern city, parks and forests, as well as beaches, dunes, and more.
Indoor
Outdoor locations are better for online dating photography since they show you as authentic and spontaneous. However, you can also take some photos in a coffee place or terrace. Indoor locations are also a great option for LinkedIn photos, I can send you a booklet with indoor locations in the Netherlands where we can shoot, such as coffee shops, hotels lobbies, etc.
