A maternity session is a great occasion to enjoy being together, express the feelings to the one you love. And of course, have some memorable souvenirs of your pregnancy to share with your kids later. Probably 1h-1h30 is optimal when you are having a photo session. Being pregnant is enough time to get photos around one location and not too long to get exhausted. We started the maternity photoshoot at Brouwersgracht and continued this lovely photoshoot at Vondelpark. Both locations are perfect romantic spots for those who want to capture their love in Amsterdam.

Your Maternity Photo Session

Timing of your shoot is ultimately your preference but I recommend between 28 and 36 weeks as the optimum window for capturing your peak maternity moment. You’ll be glowing and have your full pregnancy curves but still be comfortable enough to sit for the duration of the photo shoot!

Even if you’re new to the idea of being in front of the professional camera, I can guide you through the process from start to finish. I take time to get to know each and every one of my models in advance to ensure artistic and successful results. Perhaps you already have a vision of the style of imagery you’d like to create for your shoot. During our messages for consultations, I can offer creative suggestions to help you achieve your visual goals.
