Boudoir & Swimwear Photos Session in Amsterdam

Summer… It’s that time of the year for enjoy a unique boudoir & swimwear photoshoot in The Netherlands!

Some weeks ago, this lovely client, Karina, messaged me through my booking form to confirm my availability. She decided to book the Boudoir Diamond Package, the biggest boudoir package that I offer. It includes unlimited outfits, photos, video and a bottle of red wine, strawberries & red flowers as props for the photoshoot.

One of the best hotels for a Boudoir & Swimwear photoshoot

After the booking was made I sent to Karina my pdf booklet of locations. It’s a catalogue that offers different budgets and locations such as airbnb’s, hotels, studios to even castles! She finally selected one of my favourite hotels where I have already shoot already 3 times, the Hotel Van der Valk Amstel in Amsterdam. 

With modern and elegant decoration the Hotel Van der Valk Amstel is a perfect boudoir location. The Superior Bedroom has lots of light and big windows and the hotel also has a stunning swimming pool! It is a great idea to do a lingerie shoot in a hotel room, and then have some extra shots by the pool.  I don’t charge any extra for this as I think it is great for my clients to have the variety.

Karina wanted my recommendation about who was the best professional artist in the Netherlands to do her make-up & hair for the photo session and I totally recommended her Haroz. I have worked with him on several boudoir and commercial shoots and he is a chameleonic make-up and hairstylist! He did a great job with Karina doing her a Glamour make-up and natural curls as hairstyle.

The photoshoot went smooth with Karina and we had so much fun shooting together and speaking Spanish! First we were shooting in the bedroom some lingerie sets because the light was perfect. I also used my two big lights to make Karina’s skin shine, I always bring these lights for all the boudoir photoshoots. After that we went to the swimming pool and it we could enjoy it for ourselves. At the end of the photoshoot we came back to her bedroom and take some videos and photos with the beautiful skyline of Amsterdam and the Amstel river.

I have to say that I am super grateful when clients allow me to share their photos online, but respect when clients want to keep them private for their use only. Clients can choose to share all their photos, share only the anonymous ones, or share none of them. 

My aim is to do many more swimsuit shoots this year, and with summer here, now is the perfect time!
